Ben combines his love for injury management and resistance training to people recover from injury.
Over years of playing sports (17 years of basketball), he himself sustained many injuries to his knees, ankles, and shoulders.
As he navigated his personal injuries, he found his passion for helping others recover from injury while helping them become stronger using resistance training.
Ben Dillon is a qualified Musculoskeletal Therapist and Personal Trainer with over 12 years of experience in the field of exercise, injury, and pain management.
A personal trainer through university, Ben combined his resistance training skills and injury management education to assist his client through the complete recovery process.
After graduating in 2014, Ben opened up rooms in a local clinic and expanded his practice to Back in Motion Cranbourne, where he worked alongside a multidisciplinary team of Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Nutritionists,s and Naturopaths.
It was over his 4 years here that he honed his therapy and recovery protocols.
During this time he began working as the injury management consultant at Hampton Park Football & Netball Club where he work for 4 years treating acute, sub-acute, and chronic injuries.
During this time Ben expanded his business and created The Myo Room. His own personal clinic where he would combine elements of soft tissue therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
Throughout this period Ben worked closely with sporting clubs, within Crossfit gyms, and with Spartan Race Endurance athletes and world-class marathon runners.
In 2021, Ben decided it was time to shut up shop and follow his dream as a full-time traveler.
Ben and his family currently traveling the world, sharing his love for injury management through informative health and wellness articles.
