Miranda Wright

Editor & Outreach Manager
Miranda is a long term editor of EWS and is a key part of the team. She is part of the content planning and editor. Miranda loves outdoor activities like hiking, bike riding and swimming in cold climates around the world. She is a follower of the 16/8 Intermittent Fasting Method and does 3 days fasting once a month. Miranda also loves clean eating and prefers a more vegan based diet, although she doesn't shy away from non-vegan foods.

Kristin Gillespie, MS, RD, LD, CNSC

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Kristin is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician based in Virginia Beach, VA. She received her Bachelor of Science from Ball State University, followed by the completion of a clinically-focused dietetic internship at West Virginia University. She has also recently completed her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University. Kristin is a contributor and advisor on Exercise with Style.

Nathan LeDeaux, MD

Health & Medical Advisor
Dr. LeDeaux began work as a doctor in the field of emergency medicine after training at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed a 3 month fellowship in integrated medicine with a focus on combining modern medicine with traditional techniques from a variety of cultures.  He has a personal interest in the effects of ketogenic diets on the body composition of athletes and practices intermittent fasting as a way to maintain his own health and wellness while switching between day shifts and night shifts.

Garett M. Reid MS, CSCS, CISSN

Strength And Conditioning Coach
A native Floridian, Garett Reid has 10 years of experience in the fitness industry working both in the US as well as across Southeast Asia. During this time he has worked as a personal trainer, performance coach, gym owner, fitness consultant, and educator. He has earned his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and also holds his NSCA CSCS and CISSN certifications. In addition to coaching, Garett has an active life in athletics competing in endurance sports including Ironman 70.3, trail running, and endurance cycling up to 400km as well as training for Strongman events.

Amanda Kostro Miller, RD, LDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Amanda Kostro Miller is a Registered Dietitian (RD) from Chicago.  She has a strong background in clinical nutrition, nutrition education, and has experience working with specialized populations like children, weight loss clients, acute care, intensive care, outpatient, and eating disorders.  Aside from nutrition, Amanda is the fact checker and contributor for Exercise With Style.

Meet the EWS Medical advisor nathan LeDeaux, MD in Madison, WI.

Dr. LeDeaux began work as a doctor in the field of emergency medicine after training at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed a 3 month fellowship in integrated medicine with a focus on combining modern medicine with traditional techniques from a variety of cultures. 

He has a personal interest in the effects of ketogenic diets on the body composition of athletes and practices intermittent fasting as a way to maintain his own health and wellness while switching between day shifts and night shifts.

To reduce stress in his personal life and get in some much cardio Nathan spends his time biking around the lakes of Madison Wisconsin, specifically the Lake Monona loop which is one of the most beautiful city bike paths in all of North America. One of his favorite fitness books is “Body For Life” by Bill Phillips, the foundation for the concept of fasted cardio.
