Welcome to my Hunter Evolve review, where I’ll go over three different supplements: Hunter Evolve Focus, Hunter Evolve Burn, and Hunter Evolve Test.

These are the three key supplements made by Hunter Evolve. In this review, you’ll see if any can help you meet your goals and get a better total picture of the Hunter Evolve brand.

I’ve researched supplements and their ingredients for years now, so I know a good product when I see one.

Plus, as a holistic health practitioner, I can help direct you to products that are not only effective but also safe for long-term use.

Whether you want to learn more about nootropics, testosterone boosters, or fat-burning, keep reading. I have three complete Hunter Evolve reviews all in one.

Let’s get started!

About Hunter Evolve/Roar Ambition

Hunter Evolve aims to deliver high-grade supplements for physical and mental performance. This supplement line is actually one of a few lines made by Roar Ambition, their parent company.

They prioritize product quality and claim that all products include a wide range of scientifically researched ingredients at ideal doses.

Plus, all of their supplements are non-GMO, free of artificial junk, and tested for purity and potency.

All in all, Hunter Evolve claims to be the top-tier leader in the fitness supplement industry. And their products – Focus, Burn, and Test – are made to help you reach your goals as fast as possible.

Hunter Evolve Focus

The first of the three products I’m going to go over is Hunter Evolve Focus.

You’ll want to pay particular attention to this Hunter Focus review if you’re looking for a nootropic and cognitive enhancer.

Hunter Evolve Focus is advertised as a premium nootropic supplement to boost brain power and cognitive performance, particularly for individuals over 30.

At that age, life may start to take a noticeable toll on your cognitive health.

If you struggle with a lack of concentration, focus, memory, or mental clarity, it’s possible that you’re not achieving as much as you could. That applies to work, family stuff, general memory, fitness, and more.

And it is understandable – it’s hard to be at your mental peak all of the time, especially with the stressors of life.

Demanding schedules, obligations, poor dietary choices, distractions, technology, and other factors can potentially disrupt the function of your brain and decrease cognitive performance.

However, Focus by Hunter Evolve claims to help with all of that and get you back to your high-performing self with key nootropic (brain-enhancing) ingredients.

The Hunter Focus formula uses multiple science-backed ingredients not only for focus and creativity, but also energy, memory, mood, and learning.

Citicoline, ashwagandha, Ginkgo biloba, and phosphatidylserine are just a few of the many ingredients included in Hunter Focus.

Does Hunter Evolve Focus really work?

hunter evolve focus effectiveness

Before I continue my Hunter Focus review, I’ll get to the point. It seems very likely that it will work as a cognitive enhancer as advertised.

Of course, not everyone may experience the same benefits. But Focus does seem to stand apart due to the vast number of well-researched ingredients in it.

Plus, as you’ll see, the doses for most of the ingredients are backed by clinical evidence.

All in all, it seems like Hunter Evolve Focus may work for attention, focus, creativity, mood enhancement, memory, and other key areas of brain health.

Hunter Evolve Focus Ingredients

Hunter Evolve Focus has a wide range of ingredients in its formula. Here are all of the active ingredients:

  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B9
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin K2
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Lion’s Mane Mushroom
  • Bacopa
  • Ashwagandha Root
  • Citicoline
  • L-Theanine
  • Ginkgo Biloba
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • Maritime Pine Bark Extract
  • Rhodiola Rosea Extract
  • Panax Ginseng (10:1 Extract)
  • Spanish Sage (4:1 Extract)

Vitamin B6 (2.5mg)

Vitamin B6 is a B-complex vitamin. It is involved in energy metabolism (meaning it helps to convert food into energy).

And while it does have a role in cognitive function and mental health, there doesn’t seem to be any major benefit from supplementation on cognition.

Effective dosage: N/A

Vitamin B9 (100mcg)

Vitamin B9, more commonly known as folic acid, is another B-complex vitamin. Folic acid plays a role in metabolism and is also involved in aspects of brain function and mental health.

There might not be much of a benefit of folic acid supplementation on cognition unless you’re deficient

Effective dosage according to Examine: 200 to 400mcg

Vitamin B12 (7.5mcg)

hunter evolve focus ingredients

Vitamin B12 is likely the most important B-complex vitamin for overall brain health.

Deficiencies are related to poor mood and declined cognitive function. But again, supplementation likely only benefits those who are deficient

Effective dosage according to Examine: 100 to 1,000mcg

Vitamin C (200mg)

Vitamin C is most known for its role as an antioxidant and immune supporter, but it also plays some roles in brain health. And a vitamin C deficiency is related to depression and cognitive decline.

However, it’s unknown if vitamin C enhances cognition in already healthy people.

Vitamin D3 (75mcg)

Vitamin D is involved in many functions, such as brain health and mood.

Without enough vitamin D, you may be more likely to have depression, cognitive impairment, or other brain health problems.

But again, supplementation seems better for correcting deficiencies than enhancing brain health.

Effective dosage according to research: 1,000 to 2,000 IU

Vitamin K2 (100mcg)

Vitamin K2 plays roles in brain cell function and other aspects related to brain health.

If you’re deficient, you might have a higher risk of cognitive decline, but supplementation doesn’t seem to be a cognition enhancer.

Effective dosage: 90 to 360cg

Acetyl-L-Carnitine (800mg)

Acetyl-L-carnitine is a form of L-carnitine that can cross the blood-brain barrier more efficiently (meaning it can get into the brain easier).

Acetyl-L-carnitine helps turn fats into energy and may also reduce inflammation.

And while it may have benefits for dementia or cognitive disorders, supplementing doesn’t seem to enhance cognition significantly.

Effective dosage based on data: 630 to 2,500mg

L-Tyrosine (500mg)

L-tyrosine is an amino acid that is a precursor to neurotransmitters (i.e. brain chemicals) dopamine and norepinephrine.

Since stress can deplete these neurotransmitters, supplementing with tyrosine may help restore balance and cognitive function when under stress.

Effective dosage according to research: 500 to 2,000mg

Lion’s Mane Mushroom (500mg)

hunter evolve ingredients

Lion’s mane mushroom is a type of medicinal/functional mushroom with many possible benefits.

It has anti-inflammatory effects and also seems to protect against damage to the brain, while also increasing brain cell health.

Research has shown that lion’s mane may benefit cognitive function and decrease anxiety and depression.

Effective dosage according to the Journal of Restorative Medicine: 250 to 2,000mg

Bacopa (300mg)

Bacopa is an herbal substance with many effects on brain health. To summarize, it seems to be able to increase dopamine and serotonin, while also enhancing the health of and communication between neurons (which are brain cells).

Overall, it seems to be able to improve memory and enhance other aspects of cognitive function.

Effective dosage: 300mg (assuming 55% bacoside content)

Ashwagandha Root (300mg)

Ashwagandha is an herb that acts as an adaptogen, meaning it can help to control stress levels in the body.

It can reduce cortisol ( a stress hormone), increase GABA (a relaxing brain chemical), and decrease inflammation, among other things.

While it seems most effective for reducing stress and anxiety, there is also some evidence that ashwagandha can enhance cognitive functions such as attention and memory.

Effective dosage according to research: 250 to 600 mg

Citicoline (250mg)

Citicoline is a choline-based compound. It breaks down to choline and cytidine in the body, which may have benefits for brain function.

Specifically, it may increase brain cell health and acetylcholine levels (a neurotransmitter involved in cognition), among other things.

Overall, citicoline seems effective for enhancing cognitive function.

Effective dosage: 500 to 2,000mg

L-Theanine (250mg)

L-theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. It can increase levels of serotonin and GABA while also boosting certain brain waves that produce a calm, focused effect (alpha brain waves).

Theanine supplementation has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and increase cognitive functions.

Its benefits as a cognitive enhancer seem even better when paired with caffeine.

Effective dosage according to data: 100 to 200mg

Ginkgo Biloba (120mg)

hunter focus ingredients

Ginkgo biloba is an herb with a few unique benefits. Mainly, it seems to boost blood flow to the brain, reduce inflammation, and increase a number of different neurotransmitters.

Altogether, Ginkgo biloba supplementation has been shown to improve cognitive functions such as memory and alertness.

Effective dosage: 120 to 360mg

Caffeine Anhydrous (100mg)

Caffeine is a stimulant that can increase dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine. This may lead to a boost in mood, alertness, and overall cognitive function, especially when combined with theanine.

Effective dosage: 100mg (initially)

Phosphatidylserine (100mg)

Phosphatidylserine is an amino acid found in high amounts in the brain. It plays many roles in cognitive function and brain health.

There is evidence that phosphatidylserine can help prevent age-related cognitive decline, especially with regard to memory.

Effective dosage: 100 to 300 mg

Maritime Pine Bark Extract (75mg)

Maritime pine bark extract contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds that may help protect against brain degeneration and cognitive aging.

Current evidence shows that maritime pine bark extract may be effective in improving cognitive functions such as attention and memory.

Effective dosage based on data: 40 to 200mg

Rhodiola Rosea Extract (50mg)

hunter evolve focus reviews

Rhodiola Rosea is an adaptogen (i.e. stress-reducer) somewhat like ashwagandha.

Various compounds in Rhodiola seem to protect against stress and increase levels of key brain chemicals involved in mood and cognition.

Altogether, Rhodiola may help reduce fatigue and enhance cognitive function and mental performance.

Effective dosage: 288 to 680mg (or 50mg as a preventative)

Panax Ginseng 10:1 Extract (40mg)

Panax ginseng is an herb with many possible benefits. It seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects on the brain. It can also increase levels of some neurotransmitters involved in cognitive function and mood.

Overall, there is evidence that Panax ginseng supplementation improves cognitive function and overall brain health.

Effective dosage according to research: 200 to 400 mg

Spanish Sage 4:1 Extract (25mg)

Spanish sage is an herb with many effects on the brain. It may offer anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, increase brain cell health and communication, and increase acetylcholine and other brain chemicals.

There is evidence that Spanish sage (and other forms of sage) are effective for helping reduce cognitive decline and improving learning, memory, and attention.

Effective dosage according to Drugs in R&D: 50 to 333mg

Alternatives to Hunter Evolve Focus

Hunter Evolve Focus seems like a very solid supplement, but I also wanted to list a couple of alternatives that may be better for you personally. It’s always nice to have options.

The ones I’ll go over are Mind Lab Pro and NooCube.

Hunter Focus vs. Mind Lab Pro

Hunter Focus vs. Mind Lab Pro

Mind Lab Pro is very similar to Hunter Focus because it has many of the same ingredients, such as Rhodiola, citicoline, maritime pine bark extract, bacopa, theanine, and more.

However, Hunter Focus has many more total ingredients compared to Mind Lab Pro and also is generally dosed higher.

However, Mind Lab Pro is quite a bit cheaper. Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of Mind Lab Pro.

Pros

  • Wide number of well-researched ingredients
  • May improve cognition, such as memory, attention, focus
  • Decent dosages for most ingredients
  • Third-party tested and verified
  • Free from allergens and suitable for vegans

Cons

  • A handful of ingredients are underdosed
  • Pretty expensive
  • Missing out on key ingredients that are in Hunter Focus

NooCube

NooCube is designed to enhance brain productivity and get you into maximum mental capacity.

It is somewhat similar to Hunter Evolve Focus but differs mainly because it includes several different ingredients, such as antioxidant compounds (e.g. LuteMax, resveratrol). Plus, it doesn’t have any caffeine.

It has 13 ingredients overall, which is still lower than Hunter Evolve. It is also quite a bit cheaper than Hunter Evolve Focus.

Pros

  • Great mix of well-researched ingredients
  • May boost memory, focus, alertness, and other cognitive functions
  • Antioxidant effects for eye and brain health
  • Caffeine-free
  • 60-Day money-back guarantee

Cons

  • Somewhat expensive
  • A few ingredients are underdosed
  • Some unnecessary ingredients

Potential Side Effects of Hunter Evolve Focus

The ingredients are generally safe to consume, but like any supplement, there are possible Hunter Focus side effects.

Specifically, the caffeine in Hunter Focus may cause anxiety, jitters, nervousness, or trouble sleeping.

Also, due to the wide range of ingredients in general, there is a chance for an upset stomach, other digestive symptoms, and possibly headaches.

Hunter Evolve Burn

The second of the three Hunter Evolve reviews is on Hunter Evolve Burn, which is a fat-loss product.

Burn by Hunter Evolve is advertised as a high-dose fat burner to help you look and feel your best while shredding fat as fast as possible.

Many people today want to lose fat and get in better shape. After all, carrying weight you don’t want can contribute to issues such as lower self-esteem, decreased stamina, joint problems, increased risk for diseases, and much more.

If you’re struggling to lose weight, you probably can relate to this. It’s very frustrating to not look or feel the way you want to.

You may diet or exercise, but this isn’t always enough, especially if you’re going about it the wrong way.

But Hunter Burn aims to make the road to fat loss a lot easier. The Hunter Burn formula includes a key mixture of six high-grade ingredients to suppress appetite, increase calorie burning, jolt your metabolism, and shred fat.

Does Hunter Evolve Burn really work?

Hunter Evolve Burn effectiveness

It seems likely that Hunter Evolve Burn will work as a fat-loss supplement for men.

Individual results may vary, of course, but Hunter Burn seems to be a product that’s a cut above some others.

It has high-quality ingredients at high dosages for the most part. So, it may work for fat loss, especially if you combine it with diet and exercise.

Hunter Evolve Burn Ingredients

In this section, I’m going to review Hunter Burn’s ingredients and see what benefits they may offer.

Here are the six primary ingredients in Hunter Evolve Burn:

  • Vitamin D3
  • Konjac Root (Standardized to 90% Glucomannan)
  • White Kidney Bean 20:1 Extract
  • L-Theanine
  • Matcha Green Tea
  • Cayenne Pepper

Vitamin D3 (3,000 IU)

Vitamin D3 is a hormone-like substance that has many roles. Low levels of vitamin D are associated with an increased risk of obesity.

While vitamin D does play a role in fat cell regulation, there isn’t much evidence to say it benefits fat loss.

Effective dosage according to research: 1,000 to 2,000 IU

Konjac Root (Standardized to 90% Glucomannan) (3,000mg)

Konjac root contains a compound called glucomannan, which is a non-digestible soluble fiber.

When it forms with water, it creates a gel-like substance in the stomach that may increase feelings of fullness.

Glucomannan supplementation may help modestly with weight loss and body fat reduction.

Effective dosage according to the Journal of the American College of Nutrition: 1,000 to 3,000mg, although this is not entirely definitive.

White Kidney Bean 20:1 Extract (500mg)

White kidney bean extract seems to be able to limit the digestion and absorption of starches, which may make it useful for limiting the calories that are consumed from carbohydrates.

And there is evidence that white kidney bean extract can help mildly with weight loss and fat-burning.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 800mg

L-Theanine (200mg)

L-theanine is commonly used for mental relaxation and stress reduction. This might indirectly help weight loss by decreasing cortisol or reducing the desire for comfort foods.

While it may increase fat burning, there is no direct evidence that theanine enhances weight loss in humans.

Matcha Green Tea (200mg)

Matcha is a type of green tea powder that contains different compounds such as catechins, the most common of which is EGCG.

It may be able to increase thermogenesis (the heat-producing effect that comes from digestion) and metabolism. However, the effects on weight and fat loss are likely mild.

Effective dosage: 400 to 500 mg of EGCG (which comes from 800 to 1,000mg of green tea  if 50% EGCG)

Cayenne Pepper (125mg)

Hunter Evolve Burn ingredients

Cayenne pepper contains compounds called capsaicinoids that may increase metabolism and calorie burning. Plus, cayenne might be able to decrease appetite.

Overall, cayenne seems modestly effective for enhancing fat-burning and weight loss.

Effective dosage according to Bioscience Reports: 6mg of capsaicin (which typically comes from 2,500mg cayenne).

Hunter Evolve Burn Pros and Cons

Now, let’s take a look at some of the main pros and cons of Hunter Evolve Burn.

There’s a lot to like about this supplement, but also some ways it could be better.

Pros

  • Great mix of clinically researched ingredients
  • High dose of glucomannan
  • May suppress appetite and boost metabolism
  • Made in a cGMP-certified, FDA-regulated facility

Cons

  • Expensive
  • A few key ingredients are underdosed (e.g. cayenne)
  • Need to take six capsules

How to Use Hunter Evolve Burn

You are supposed to take Hunter Burn once per day, preferably at the same time every day.

Potential Side Effects of Hunter Evolve Burn

None of the ingredients in Hunter Evolve Burn should be too concerning. Yet, there are always possible side effects with any supplement.

With Hunter Burn, you may experience upset stomach, bloating (from konjac root), or heartburn (from cayenne).

Other possible side effects are headache, anxiety, and jitters. These are less likely but still possible due to caffeine from green tea.

Hunter Evolve Test

The final of the three Hunter Evolve reviews in this article is my Hunter Test review.

Test by Hunter Evolve is advertised as a premium, high-dose testosterone booster to reverse testosterone decline and reignite masculinity.

If you’re a man, you likely care about your testosterone levels (or at least you should!). Testosterone levels decline naturally with age, and this can also be compounded by environmental factors such as stress and a poor diet.

Unfortunately, low testosterone is associated with many troubling symptoms, such as poor libido, loss of strength and muscle, lower mood, more body fat, and less energy.

Perhaps you can relate to some (or even all) of these symptoms. And this is surely no joke; you simply may not feel or look like the man you know you can be. How frustrating is that?

But Hunter Evolve Test is designed to help reverse the decline in testosterone levels and get you back to a more youthful, manly state.

It includes nine key ingredients that they say are scientifically formulated to boost free and total testosterone. In turn, Hunter Evolve also claims to help increase energy, muscle, and overall performance.

Does Hunter Evolve Testosterone Booster really work?

test by hunter evolve

Just like the other two supplements, the formula is good enough to assume that Hunter Test will work as a testosterone booster and male health supplement.

Of course, not everyone will experience the same results. It may not work as well if your testosterone levels are already high or normal.

But Hunter Evolve Test contains a solid group of clinically researched ingredients at high, evidence-based dosages. Thus, it should be effective for increasing testosterone and may boost many of the factors mentioned earlier (e.g. energy, muscle, drive).

Hunter Evolve Testosterone Booster Ingredients

A key part of this Hunter Test review is seeing what the exact ingredients are and what benefits they may have to offer.

Take a look at the list below to see all of the active ingredients in Hunter Test:

  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin K2
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Asian Ginseng
  • Ashwagandha Extract
  • Indole-3-Carbinol
  • Boron

Vitamin D3 (5,000 IU)

Vitamin D3 is a hormone-like substance with roles in brain, heart, muscle, bone, and immune health.

Also, adequate levels of vitamin D seem to be necessary for supporting optimal testosterone levels. This is partly due to the role vitamin D plays in testosterone synthesis.

However, supplementation usually isn’t beneficial unless you’re deficient.

Effective dosage according to Examine: Minimum of 1,000 to 2,000 IU

Vitamin K2 (150mcg)

Vitamin K2 works together with vitamin D to support optimal bone and heart health. The increase in blood flow may help more vitamin D to circulate, which may increase testosterone.

Plus, some research has shown that vitamin K may help maintain healthy testosterone levels in its own right, although more evidence is needed.

Effective dosage: 90 to 360mcg

Magnesium (200mg)

Magnesium is a mineral involved in many functions. Low levels of magnesium are associated with increased stress and lower testosterone levels.

Plus, magnesium is necessary for optimal muscular function and anabolic hormone production, including testosterone. Supplementation is beneficial for athletes, too.

Effective dosage: 250 to 450mg

Zinc (30mg)

hunter test review

Another important mineral is zinc, which is involved in immune health, inflammation support, and hormone production.

Zinc seems to be necessary for testosterone synthesis as well as lowering the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Zinc deficiencies are commonly associated with low testosterone levels.

Plus, zinc supplementation seems effective for increasing total and free testosterone, especially when testosterone is low to begin with.

Effective dosage according to research: Either 5 to 10mg (preventative) or 25 to 45mg (for people with a deficiency)

D-Aspartic Acid (3,000mg)

D-Aspartic acid (DAA) is an amino acid-based compound. It causes the release of certain hormones in the brain that eventually lead to increased testosterone production.

Overall, DAA supplementation seems to be especially useful for increasing testosterone levels in men with low T and/or athletes.

Effective dosage according to research: 2,000 to 3,000mg

Asian Ginseng (3,000mg)

Asian (or Panax) ginseng is known as true ginseng. It has been used for many years to enhance fertility, reduce fatigue, and increase energy.

While more evidence is probably needed, there is some research that shows ginseng and its active compounds can increase fertility, libido, and testosterone production.

And it may also have benefits for exercise performance.

Effective dosage based on data: 3,000mg

Ashwagandha Extract (300mg)

hunter test ingredients

Ashwagandha is an herb that has been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine.

Earlier, I explained how ashwagandha works as an adaptogen to help the body manage stress. This can lead to reduced cortisol, which is the “enemy” of testosterone.

Indeed, research shows that ashwagandha can help to manage stress and anxiety levels, while also boosting testosterone

Ashwagandha supplementation may also increase strength, power, endurance, and other aspects of exercise performance.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 250 to 600 mg

Indole-3-Carbinol (200mg)

Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) is a compound found in high amounts in cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage and broccoli.

There is evidence that I3C can decrease bad estrogens and decrease the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. In theory, this would leave more available testosterone.

Effective dosage: N/A (for testosterone)

Boron (10mg)

Boron is a trace mineral that has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immune-supportive, and hormonal benefits.

Supplementation with boron seems to help with increasing total testosterone. More importantly, it may increase the conversion of total to free testosterone and DHT, which are the most active, potent forms.

Effective dosage: 6 to 10mg
