About Huge Supplements

Huge Supplements is a company that claims to deliver only the best and highest quality supplements to athletes and bodybuilders around the globe.

They advertise their products as “the craziest, most clinically-dosed supplements on the market.” If true, this would be a breath of fresh air amidst all the proprietary blends and low-dose products.

Huge Supplements has a range of other products, too. They also carry protein powders, nighttime recovery supplements, and much more.

What is Wrecked Pre Workout?

Among all their supplements, Wrecked Pre Workout seems to be the most popular since it has the most reviews on its website.

Wrecked is alleged to be one of the strongest pre-workouts on the market. It has over 17 clinically-dosed ingredients and a total weight per serving of over 30 grams.

Things to Consider Before Buying Wrecked Pre Workout Product

wrecked pre workout review

If you’re an athlete, bodybuilder, or other fitness enthusiast, you care about having enough energy, strength, and drive to power through your workouts and make progress.

After all, you don’t want to be hampered by fatigue, lack of motivation, or any other factor that can diminish the quality of your workout.

Fortunately, Wrecked Pre Workout is designed to increase your energy, focus, strength, and power, while also improving muscle pumps so that you can get in the ultimate workout.

But before buying, it’s important to consider the specifics of this Huge Supplements product. When looking at a pre-workout, you’ll want to pay attention to the specific ingredients and their safety.

Also, it’s important to know the number of stimulants in them and possible synergistic effects between any ingredients.

Of course, other factors to consider are price and flavor. After all, the best pre-workout in the world might not mean much if it costs too much and makes you gag every time you try it.

Wrecked Pre Workout Features

So, when looking at Wrecked Pre Workout, we can see that it has a few features that stand out:

Contains Natural and Effective Ingredients

Many people are concerned about pre-workouts and whether they contain any unsafe or unnatural ingredients that might harm the body.

Wrecked Pre Workout ingredients are supposed to be natural and effective. This means you could have more confidence that it’ll work and, more importantly, that it’s less likely to cause side effects.

High in Caffeine

Many people struggle with having enough energy, especially to complete tough workouts at a top level. Wrecked has a high dose of caffeine and states that this will deliver a noticeable boost in energy.

Contains Strong Stimulants

huge supplements

A lot of athletes are looking for more than caffeine these days, with many wanting to achieve longer-lasting, cleaner energy.

And in Wrecked, there are many other stimulants, which are designed to increase energy and maximize workout performance.

Includes Pump Ingredients

A lack of blood flow to the muscles can impair performance during exercise, as well as post-exercise recovery.

Wrecked claims to increase blood flow to your muscles to give you that coveted muscle pump. This also may enhance exercise performance and recovery. Plus, you look good doing it.

Contains Nootropics

Mental fatigue can certainly put a damper on workout quality, especially toward the end of the session.

However, Wrecked claims to have certain cognitive-enhancing ingredients to boost focus and mood.

This may help you to power through your workouts with more drive and intensity. Plus, this would help you enjoy the workouts more, which may help you to stick to them in the long run.

Clinical Dosages

An unfortunately common theme amongst many pre-workouts out there is a lack of effective dosages. This leads to suboptimal results and wasted money.

Wrecked is advertised to contain only clinically-researched dosages for all of its ingredients. This would mean that you’d be more likely to actually get the benefits from the ingredients as seen in the research.

Does Wrecked Pre Workout really work?

Looking at Wrecked, it seems likely that it should work for most people. Of course, results may vary between individuals.

It is likely that Wrecked will be best for higher-intensity exercise rather than endurance exercise due to the ingredients in it.

How effective is Wrecked Pre Workout?

That will vary based on the individual.

Overall, Wrecked has what it takes to be an effective pre workout. After all, many of the ingredients are present in the right doses, or at least very close to them.

People who find Wrecked effective may enjoy an increase in energy, strength, and power, as well as enhanced endurance, blood flow, and reduced fatigue.

This may mean that it truly can “boost your workouts from various angles” as they say on their website.

Wrecked Pre Workout Ingredients

Alright, so you’re probably wondering what the exact ingredients are in Wrecked, and what benefits they may offer.

That’s an important part of this Wrecked Pre Workout review. We’ll also list the dosage amount per ingredient and if dosed at an effective range or underdosed according to the available literature.

Note that each dosage listed below is based on the serving size, which is one scoop.

L-Citrulline (8,000mg)

Citrulline is an amino acid known for its ability to boost arginine and nitric oxide levels, which increases blood flow to the muscles. This may lead to increased muscle pumps.

Research also shows that citrulline can improve both exercise performance and recovery.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 6,000 to 8,000mg of citrulline malate, which is about 3,000 to 5,000mg of citrulline.

Hydromax™ (65% Glycerol) (4000mg)

Hydromax is a trademarked form of glycerol, a compound that may increase cellular hydration due to its effects on fluid balance. This can lead to more water being pulled into the muscles, aiding aerobic and anaerobic exercise.

However, large doses are usually needed, with at least 0.125g/kg of body weight.

Effective dosage according to Sports Medicine: Around 6,000 to 12,000mg depending on body weight.

Beta Alanine (3,500mg)

wrecked pre workout ingredients

Beta-alanine is an amino acid that can increase muscle carnosine stores. Plus, it acts as a lactic acid buffer.

These combined effects may make it effective for delaying fatigue and increasing strength and power. The catch is that the dose must be high enough and it must be taken consistently for multiple weeks.

Effective dosage according to research analysis: 3.2 to 6.4g

Betaine Anhydrous (3000mg)

Betaine is a compound shown to increase muscle protein synthesis and even creatine concentrations.

Additionally, it has osmolyte properties, meaning it can increase fluid volume in the cells, which could potentially improve workout performance.

Yet, overall research is inconclusive on betaine’s effectiveness. The studies that have shown benefits use around three grams.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 2.5g

Malic Acid (3,000mg)

Malic acid is an important acid involved in aspects of energy metabolism. Some research indicates that it may help to increase energy and decrease fatigue.

It’s often paired with citrulline to form citrulline malate, which improves exercise performance in some cases. However, Wrecked did not do this and lists each ingredient separately.

Effective dosage: There’s no recommended dosage for malic acid, but as we learned earlier, citrulline malate’s recommended dosage is 6,000 to 8,000 mg.

Agmatine Sulfate (1,500mg)

Agmatine is a metabolite of arginine and is thus speculated to increase nitric oxide levels and blood flow to the muscles.

However, no research has been done on humans, so no conclusions can be made.

Effective dosage according to data: 1,300 to 6,400 mg

L-Tyrosine (1,500mg)

Tyrosine is an amino acid and a precursor to the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine.

Some research shows that tyrosine can improve focus and cognitive performance when under stress. Other studies show that tyrosine may improve endurance and pain tolerance, but more evidence is needed.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 500 to 2,000mg

Alpha GPC 50% (600mg)

Alpha GPC is a form of choline, which eventually is turned into the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. This neurotransmitter is involved in cognitive and physical functions, such as focus, memory, and muscle contractions.

However, research hasn’t generated any definitive benefits for cognition or exercise performance.

Effective Dosage According to Examine: 300 to 600 mg

Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder (600mg)

wrecked ingredients

Lion’s mane mushroom is regarded as a functional mushroom due to its potential nootropic and other benefits. It is rich in a number of bioactive compounds, such as hericerins and diterpenes, and may offer anti-fatigue and cognitive-enhancing properties.

More research is needed, especially specific to athletes/bodybuilders.

Effective dosage (preliminary) according to Examine: 3,000mg

Caffeine Anhydrous (250mg)

Wrecked has a whopping dose of caffeine in the form of caffeine anhydrous. This well-known stimulant has a lot of research behind it showing it can improve mood and alertness, while also boosting endurance, strength, power, and other aspects of performance.

The required dose for caffeine and exercise is pretty high, usually 3 to 6mg/kg of body weight, possibly as low as 2mg/kg.

Effective dosage according to independent analysts: Around 200 to 500mg for most

N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine (250mg)

N-phenethyl dimethylamine is a stimulant that can boost dopamine and norepinephrine levels quite rapidly, leading to possible increases in mood, alertness, and performance.

However, there’s a lack of human research.

Effective dosage: N/A

Theobromine (150mg)

Theobromine is a milder, slower-acting stimulant compared to caffeine, but it still may offer benefits for exercise, such as enhanced endurance.

Effective dosage according to Drug Testing Analysis Journal: 300 to 600 mg

Di-Caffeine Malate (150mg)

Di-caffeine malate is said to be a slower-release form of caffeine and is also purported to enhance the digestibility of caffeine anhydrous, leading to potential synergistic effects between the two.

Effective dosage: N/A

Himalayan Pink Salt (100mg)

Himalayan pink salt is a natural form of salt that contains small amounts of numerous trace minerals.

It also provides a source of sodium and other electrolytes that may be useful during exercise. However, the small amounts in it might not make much of a difference.

Effective dosage: N/A

S7 (Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea Extract, Turmeric Extract, Tart Cherry, Blueberry, Broccoli, Kale) (75mg)

S7 is a trademarked blend of fruits, vegetables, and herbal compounds.

It has been clinically proven to increase nitric oxide levels by over 200%, which improves blood flow to the muscles and could enhance exercise performance.

Effective dosage according to FutureCeuticals: 50mg

Black Pepper Fruit Extract (10mg)

Black pepper fruit extract has been shown to enhance the bioavailability of numerous nutrients, thus increasing their potential effectiveness.

Effective dosage based on available data: 20mg

Rauwolscine (1mg)

Rauwolscine is known for its alpha-yohimbine content. It acts as an alpha-adrenergic receptor antagonist, which means that adrenaline is allowed to stay in your bloodstream for longer, leading to greater stimulatory effects.

However, it’s unclear if it directly benefits exercise performance.

Effective dosage according to Examine: 14 to 22mg

Real Customer Wrecked Pre Workout Reviews

There are over 3,000 reviews of Wrecked on the Huge Supplements website, with a 4.8 overall rating. Here are some reviews from real customers:

“After doing some research online about the highest rated pre workout products the “Wrecked” name kept popping up at the top of each list. After trying it I am happy to say that it totally lives up to the hype. One scoop provides a ton of energy and focus for a tough workout and the list of ingredients is much longer and detailed than other brands I’ve tried. It’s definitely worth a try and the price. The taste is also very nice as well.”

-Robert S.

“Powerful! Had a strong workout with a real pump and plenty of sweat, the blend is awesome and it surely does the work. I surely recommend”

-Nathanael G.

“The pump was an excellent one and felt focused throughout the whole workout. Totally felt a strength and energy boost in my workouts after taking this pre workout. I would recommend it to anyone trying to feel great every workout.”

-Andrik M.

I got the peach ring flavor and it was okay. Definitely went down easy and didn’t feel overstimulated by the taste or ingredients which is good. Everything kicked in nicely. I give this a 3-star because I believe the flavors could be better and I didn’t feel pumped up and ready for a workout as other pre workouts. I do like the ingredients but I wish there was more of a kick.”

-Michael D.

Health Benefits of Wrecked Pre Workout

We’ve hinted at some of them already, but if you’re wondering what are some of the top benefits you may get from Wrecked, we have you covered. The main benefits you may get are:

  • Pump
  • Energy
  • Focus
  • Strength

Pump

wrecked preworkout benefits

Wrecked includes ingredients to increase blood flow to the muscles while also enhancing cellular fluid intake, both of which together may increase muscle pumps throughout your workout.

Energy

With over 300mg of caffeine, theobromine, and other stimulants, you may also get a surge in energy to help power through even the most intense of workouts.

Focus

Wrecked also has various nootropics and other ingredients to potentially enhance focus, alertness, and cognition, such as lion’s mane mushroom and Alpha-GPC.

Strength

You may also get a boost in strength and power due to some of the stimulant ingredients that are known to be central nervous system stimulants. Plus, the beta-alanine may delay fatigue, allowing you to be stronger, for longer.

Potential Side Effects of Wrecked Pre Workout

As with any supplement, there are possible side effects.

With Wrecked Pre Workout, some potential side effects include high blood pressure, increased heart rate, anxiety, and jitters, largely due to the stimulants in here. If you take it too close to bedtime, you’ll also increase the risk of insomnia.

Wrecked may also cause headaches, chills, and various digestive symptoms, such as nausea, upset stomach, and bloating.

Stacking Wrecked Pre Workout for Optimal Results

As they mention on their website, you can also stack Wrecked with other Huge Supplements products for potentially even better results.

Pump Serum

One product from Huge Supplements that could pair well with Wrecked is Pump Serum, a pre-workout designed specifically to maximally enhance muscular pumps while also boosting focus.

Magnify

With Magnify, you get additional pump-enhancing ingredients, so this could be another option. And it has smaller dosages than Pump Serum, so it may be better for people who want milder effects.

But Huge Supplements actually recommends that users combine Wrecked with both Pump Serum and Magnify for optimal results.

Wrecked Pre Workout Price

Wrecked has 20 servings per container and costs $49.95, which comes out to $2.50 per serving.

This is a pretty expensive pre-workout since most typically cost one to two dollars per serving. Still, considering the high doses of some ingredients and the overall ingredient profile, this is a pretty fair price.

Shipping and Returns

Huge Supplements offers a 30-day return policy, meaning that you have 30 days after receiving your supplement to request a return.

You’ll have to return the product in the same condition you received it, and must also have the receipt or proof of purchase.
