Nathan LeDeaux, MD

Dr. LeDeaux began work as a doctor in the field of emergency medicine after training at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed a 3 month fellowship in integrated medicine with a focus on combining modern medicine with traditional techniques from a variety of cultures. 

He has a personal interest in the effects of ketogenic diets on the body composition of athletes and practices intermittent fasting as a way to maintain his own health and wellness while switching between day shifts and night shifts.

To reduce stress in his personal life and get in some much cardio Nathan spends his time biking around the lakes of Madison Wisconsin, specifically the Lake Monona loop which is one of the most beautiful city bike paths in all of North America. One of his favorite fitness books is “Body For Life” by Bill Phillips, the foundation for the concept of fasted cardio.
